    The strangest thing happened today got back off holiday and there was a large parcel wating for me. I opened it up and inside was a new router from virgin with a letter with it saying welcome to 50mb broadband even though i have not asked for it.

    So gave them a ring and the woman on the phone said it was a free router as im on the xl package and they were sending it out to those customers so does this mean i have 50mb broadband now or not.

    Im a little confused:confused::confused:

    It could be to tempt you to 50Mb.

    Yeah it could be but they need to bring the price down first as i have xl for all tv internet and phone and they still want another £15 on top to go to the xxl package on the internet

    The funny thing is mine didnt come in a virgin box at all.

    All it was packaged in was the original netgear box in a courier bag with a generic letter saying dear 50MB user not even dear mr

    Not sure if you will get one as i dont know why they sent it to me and when i asked the question to them they said it was free as i was a xl package user still dont know if im getting 50MB broadband or not lol
