Hi,
I have received a new media box for my pioneer 434 plasma after the other one kept dropping the picture every now and then.
Is there a way to tell if it has the latest firmware upgrade in it, as it says it was manufactured in November 2003.
The tv channels seem to switch faster 2-3 seconds, but other problems that I had on my other box are still there, ie duty tube effect and strange blocks appearing on fast panning movement (most noticable on football when there is a fast pan on the croud etc, or white objects). This only happens when the picture is interlaced, I have recorded the same images onto dvd-r and played them via progressive and it is fine.
Cheers,
Graham
