Made the plunge and now have my new screen  Couple of quick q's - do I need to run it in? What settings are recommended? Screen saver? Is it OK to run it laid flat (rather than on the wall) until I get it hung? Want to wait until I can get a hand to lift it up - cant afford another one!

    Cheers,

    Pete

normal advice is avoid dynamic mode, turn brightness and contrast down a couple of notches for 1st 200 hours.....

I don't think Plasma's should be laid flat at all, let alone turned on while its flat.

    sure someone will 2nd that

I was watching it flat on the floor, until I could get a hand to lift it onto the wall bracket - it wasn't a long term solution ;) New toy syndrome - could resist trying it! Very nice! :smashin: Its on the wall now, and even better

got any pics ?? i was going to get a 42 inch PW7 but have now thought a 42inch tv would be to big for a room its going in :), i will only be around 9feet away from the tv so maybe a 37 inch will be better for the bed room :D

also where did you get it from ?? i have been looking at the Richer Sounds as the price seems pretty damn nice :)

ohh and what is the picture quality like ? (sorry for all the questions)

i need my new toy aswell ;)

p.s do you have a 5.1 system at all ?? i am in the market for one of those aswell :)
