Neutrik cable NL4FC

    Some stupid **** (myself) decided to take apart the above mentioned..and yes you've guessed it did'nt jot down where the r/y/b cables came from their allocated numbers incl + or _ in the connector. If poss could some informed person please let me know the correct locations so I don't damage my amp or sub and I can give this **** a good kicking.<br />Thanks

    I'm guessing that the cable you have got is not made by Neutrik, as the part number you've given is actually for a cable mounted connector so I can't help with the colour codes, but the (provisional IEC specification) pin assignment for the Neutrik NL4FC "Speakon" plug is as follows;

    1- = Return<br />1+ = Signal<br />2- = unused<br />2+ = unused

    or, for a biamped system

    1- = LF Return<br />1+ = LF Signal<br />2- = HF Return<br />2+ = HF Signal

    If there is any chance that power is being passed through this connector do not connect it up - check with the supplier!<br />The pins are marked on the connector (hopefully), if not contact me by e-mail and I can fax or scan & E-mail the layout.
