Right then here goes.
I have a Netgear WGR614v6 router. This wirelessly connects my PC, in my room, a laptop downstairs and a PS3 (wired) in my room.
I have recentlly upgraded my Virgin Broadband package to 20mb. When i do a speed test on my pc i get approximately 2mb, this is the same on my PS3. Now when i plug these straight into my modem the speed obviously shoots right up. So i had an idea to buy an ethernet hub today.
I plugged it into my modem and ran a wire to my router and a wire to my pc the wireless still worked so i dissconnected it to test the wire. I got approx 4mb. When i connected my Ps3 to the hub i got it to work for a while. Then my network went down. I am currently connected wirelessly again as i cannot get the hub to work.
Can anyone please help?
