network projector management

I have tried different Google combinations and even downloading and installing software from places like Extron, Currently we are testing out Sharp’s Display Manager software, to allow us better control over the numerous classroom projectors. Sadly the Display manager is leaving a lot to be desired, is there any program out there that can help the college keep track of our networked projectors? The program has to meet certain criteria:
Be able to keep track of the bulb life for each projector.
Keep a log of any error that a projector might have (filter off, bulb dead, overheating, etc.) .
Be able to interface with the projector over the lan.(All the projectors currently have IP addresses)

Work with Sharp projectors (CX-C330X,CX-C335X,PG-D4010X and so on).
If possible allow us to power on or off the projectors remotely.

In the preliminary research I have discovered companies like Hitachi also have network managed control software. Can we use another manufacture’s software with our Sharp projectors?

Thanks for any information that you might find.
