    Hello everybody...

I need to connect 3 xp pc's and a mac to a wired adsl router. Are there any problems with connecting the mac to an ordinary adsl router?

Could you please recommend a suitable router for my purposes.

    Cheers

Most routers will deal with mac computers absolutely fine but a few dont. In my experience Netgear make great firewalls and routers. I will recommend the DG834 (I have the same model but the wireless version) as it is very secure - have never had a single intrusion through it and the remote facilities can be configured very easily.

Alternatively there is the basic Ebuyer version you can try but it requires much more out of the box configuration and is probably a little less secure/reliable.

I can recommend the DG834 as well.
