Depends on the quality of the scart lead;)

Seriously though, ALDI and LIDL have had similar DVD players for £19.99 recently. Depending on the return policy it may be worth a try.

I bought an DVD player from ALDI for my son last year, it only cost £31 complete with DD and DTS with 5.1 analogue output. It was a bit flimsy but worked well for 11 months, then it died, took it back to ALDI and they gave me a full refund!

    Regards

Says nothing on outputs. Now I assume it comes with Scart but is it RGB?

What about component out? - audio out?

These are additions that would really make it a steal..as it stands £19.99 nowadays is common for a basic DVD player.

But for a quid does Sugar puffs need progressive scan ?

Joking aside, what would you really expect for 20 quid. Its the sort of player your'd buy and use in the bedroom or the kids tv room(not that i have one:( )

well you can get a rather decent player for around £60, so seems silly to buy one of these cheapo ones imo :)

of course its fine for kiddies bedroom though :)
