Netgear wont work

Hi, Have a laptop running vista ,with netgear router from virgin and all running well,
At another property I have, I just got another netgear router from virgin and connected it with the lovely yellow cable and it works well but I cant connect via wifi, spent 2 long sessions on the phone with virgin and went through all the set ups and still no joy,
The new router is seen by my laptop and has good signal etc but it wont connect, virgin have run out of ideas, so have I.

Try changing the Chanel number and also make sure access control is unchecked under wireless settings

on the router menu under wireless settings, sometimes if you are on the last couple of channels ie 12 or 13 some wireless cards wont connect.
