watched the first 3 eps - enjoying it and will watch the rest as the fight scenes seem really well done and the dolby vision/atmos seem really quite good for Netflix fare

thought I was doing OK to have watched 3 already but darn it Cas how the heck have you watched all 10 and written a review already? your own super powers?

Finally, Cas, you may have just saved 2 hours of my life looking for something to watch on Netflix. Many many thanks:smashin:.

Well it may only be a 6, but you've titled your review, "Bigger Trouble in China".

That means I'm in, and it's highly likely gonna be a 10 from me.

Well I watched the first three episodes, it has piqued my interest and I’ll watch the rest over the weekend. I never take that much notice of reviews, I’ll know within a couple of episodes if I intend to stick with it. Worth a watch in my opinion.

      Thanks for the review Cas!

Watched the very long preview on Netflix earlier.

Is it bad that I will likely watch this just for Katheryn winnick? She is absolutely stunning and a decent actress to boot!

Well I won't tell anybody as long as you don't.

She is all that, it's just unfortunate that doesn't really go with her character lol. Oooh and she directed an episode, so the complete package!

watched the first 5 now - no match for the Cas - meister clearly

I think it is pretty good tbh

unless it takes a dive in quality my ranking would be 7.5

I still am a huge Netflix fan - I am still on £9.99 pm for now I watch way more stuff on Netflix than sky

off topic but GO WATCH THE BOYS ON PRIME !!!!!

I have watched the first 4 and I am enjoying it as well. But I am a fan of Kung fu movies from old. I also thought the atmos & Dolby Vision were really good on this show. Yes the acting and the effects can be a bit hokey sometimes but it is good to see an action series on Netflix - George

I loved Warrior. That managed to integrate stunning martial arts into a captivating world. This seems to have forgotten about the latter. Shame to see Uwais go the way of Tony Jaa.

The Boys is the best thing for a long time. Antony Starr from Banshee is in it. Really good

The Raid's Iko Uwais returns to Netflix with his very own TV series, and his very own superpowers, but did he really need them?
I decided I at least didn't after two episodes.

Warrior is wicked currently half way through. i have this on my list but i normally wait till a new season gets a season 2 before i start watching anything these days as i get into them and it ends on a cliff hanger and then they dont finish the story because it gets cancelled. Warrior has been renewed thats why i have started that.

Yeah, I was pleased to see another season on the way. Must be a very expensive show to produce so presumably its popular. A show made up of primarily Asian heritage actors probably helped draw in a lot of interest in the States as well.

I've just watched episode 3. Its very formulaic. If they had cut out all the swearing it could/can have easily been on broadcast TV. Sort of like the 1970's David Carradine Kung Fu series but with knobs on.

In Cas's review he mentioned the films Dredd and The Raid. I've watched Dredd multiple times and its a top 'B' movie film, but isn't on Netflix. But The Raid 1 & 2 are, so I've added 1 to my 'to watch' list. Thanks Cas.

The Raid films have some of the most outstanding choreographed martial arts scenes of recent years. If you like martial arts stuff, you'll be blown away.

I have to say I think she would do very well in a decent drama, Definitely needs something gritty to get her teeth into

Watched one ep and its not on par with the Warrior series.
Warrior is raw , well it would be from the makers of Banshee which was 1000mph in your face TV.

Will try a few more during the week.
      :D
