Kinda fast, slightly furious, over processed.
Yeah, you're right, admittedly I marked it quite scathingly because they spentcas I just watched this and I think 4 is harsh ish
its entertaining in a brain not engaged sort of way but I can see why this is straight to Netflix material
looked and sounded good though in dolby vision and atmos
maybe a 6 for me
according to Wikipedia the budget for angel has fallen was $40m - Ryan Reynolds cant have cost all the extra budget could he?ROFL Cas you make a very fair point - I just posted on the angel has fallen thread that I enjoyed that more than 6 underground and probably at 20% of the budget
Yes, I had a major problem with the budget too Cas. It really was obscene considering the level of 'filmmaking' on show here -Yeah, you're right, admittedly I marked it quite scathingly because they spent
ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS
If they wanted to do 'straight-to-Netflix', they could have blown a quarter of that, and I might have given it a 5. Fairer?
A serious contender for worst film of 2019. I can only assume that Michael Bay making a film for Netflix rather than one for the big studios means he was given total artistic license and left totally unchecked. If it was the case, I think I little guidance from the 'high ups' might not have gone amiss...Watching this right now, holy hell it's BAD, can't believe this crap had $150m thrown at it. A complete mess of a film, 4 is a generous mark, I'd go for a 2
