Brother has a Netflix account and pays the £5.99 fee per month.

If we were to share, will that be illegal?

    From the UK btw.

Not sure, however I pay my £5.99 per month and travel between my home, my parents and my partners. I use different laptops at each and its different IP's at each, and Netflix haven't said anything so I assume so? It's probably against their tcs, but they obviously don't enforce it. (Unless it's like different country ips lol)

I spoke to Netflix chat TWICE and both times they were clueless.

It isn't very clear on their website but I do understand they recently added multiple user profiles so I assume multiple users is fine with them then.

I know you can have upto 6 registered devices on one account

However my question is a bit different as I am asking for the legality of one person paying £5.99 per month but two people using the same account.

Yea, like I said I guess it will be against their terms and conditions, otherwise there'd be "Netflix share" groups of some kind, so technically it's probably against their terms, but it'd not see it ever being a illegal to share your brothers account. I know if my family asked for my details to use whenever they wanted I'd give them it without remote regard for what Netflix think, I pay the fee, I like to share with family

If Netflix don't have a clue, screw them and do it, haha!

I don't think device registration applies in the UK. At least, I've never registered a device and I've used my account on more than six PCs/tablets.

I seriously doubt that sharing an account is 'illegal', but it is almost certainly against their terms and conditions.

I do not use neflix so do not know the answer.

Is there any term that says "x number of devices connected at the same time"?
Can you connect it with TV in the sitting room and laptop in bedroom at the same time?

I am sure if there is only one connection, it would not matter where (and who) you connect it, whether in Glassgow or London.
If you are in London and your brother in Glasgow and you both want to connect at the same time, issue may arise.
    Have you tried that?

I get two options in my account.

Been on my desktop and tablet several times with the same logon without any issues. There is an option to add a device but when i'm on a job I just log via the webpage and it works everytime.
