Which is the best solution to connect a pc , satellite, smart tv and ps 3 via the modem in one room.

i am seeing it - from my modem to the wan switch then out to all my devices. is this the right way or can make my internet poor on the devices especially on ps3?

It's really not clear what you're asking but from what I can gather what you're asking (plugging a LAN switch directly into a modem) isn't going to work, you'll need a router to allow multiple devices to access the internet. Most home routers do come with four port switches built in though, although be sure to get one that supports an external modem if your ISP requires you to use theirs.
