    Dear everyone

Please help as I am a not a very "technically sound" person :)

I have just bought a new sport model Sony MP3 player. It is a model NW - S202F.

It is perfect in every way, but it is just not loud enough for my workouts.

I have now had a row with the Sony shop I bought it at, who told me that the sound has to be limited. They told me that they will not refund as it has been used already (how do you know how loud it is if you do not download???)

The guy has simply told me to buy an I pod (that's after spending 70 pounds at the Sony shop?)

Anyway, I know that you can disable the sound limiter on the older models, but not sure how to do it in this one.

    Any help is much appriciated.

    Cheers.

    jules.

Did you check if AVLS is on?
Seeing that you live in Europe, you can't do anything about it 'cause French legislation means that the MP3 Players you buy in Europe won't sound as loud as MP3 Players from Australia.
The only thing you can do is buy noise-cancelling earphones. O.O
Ooh, and you can't 'unlock' the volume like other Sony HDD MP3 players - there's no volume unlock for any of Sony's flash drive players so far.
