Hi Guys,

I want to have my PS4, Xbox One, Sky box & Apple TV all hooked up to my router using a wired connection (currently all wireless).

I have run a long Ethernet cable from my router (Apple Time Capsule/Airport Extreme) round to the back of my AV unit, which works when plugged into my PS4, but I obviously want to split it to all the devices, so is this what I need??
TP-Link TL-SG108 8-Port Metal Gigabit Ethernet Switch: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

I hope so as I've just ordered it lol

Cheers

Yes, luckily that's exactly what you need :)

Just plug the long cable into one of the switch ports and use small patch leads from the other switch ports to the various devices you want to connect to your wired network.

Yes that will work just fine.
Would work nicely with a homeplugs too, should you wish not to be running long ethernet cables around the house :)
