Hi

was looking into a setup ages ago and now going to get one

i have

WD Live HD
Xbox 360
Sky HD

i download a lot of MKV movies etc and tv mkv to watch using the WD Live

when i have looking Onkyo stuff was good and good price, is this still the case and if so which is best to get or good value

i need to get some wirless speakers so looking at Kef

I you want wireless rears you are going to have to buy a separate wireless module. I think the Kef one is around £400 or so. Also the sound quality of these wireless systems do not seem to be good with a few members going back to wires due to the drop. There are many ways to route wires around a room with things like D line trunking or flat cable that can be painted. Considering your modest budget you are going to have to pay a biggish chunk on the wireless side meaning compromising on the quality of the other components too (not a good combination imho). Also the wireless systems tend to have a central reciever so still need speaker cable to each rear and also a power lead to the reciever (so not truely wireless).
