Need Simple to use Video Conversion Software !

    Can anyone tell me of some software Free or Not that is simple to use and converts lots of different file types.

    I have a Creative Zen Vision M and i saw a Pixar short film on Itunes so i decided to install itunes and buy the clip which has come out as a M4V file and now every single free piece of software i have tryed to use to convert it, don't even seem to recongnise it.

    Also need the software to able to convert protected dvds.
