Hi, just had a Comet technician out and he has declared my Samsung 409 HDready CRT as ( beyond economic repair).

So I now have my money back to buy a new TV to the same value or if I want I can add more to it to get something better from them. So my budget is now £500-550 and I’ve decided to take the jump into LCD.

The TV will be mainly used for 360 and watching DVD’s, I’m not exactly sure what to look for in LCD’s, so id be grateful if anybody could recommend an LCD TV from comet within the price above.

    Cheers, I appreciate it :)

looked at the tosh 3030 and it looked a bit dark to me but maybe it was how it was set up, the sammy r88 looked quite bright to me.
one i did see which looked ok was an orion one it doesnt have freeview built in but it looked good from what i saw and theres a thread somewhere about it and people on there seem to be happy with it.
only 400 quid too, so u could get a 30 quid freeview box for it.
