hi all (been a while since I last posted here!)

I purchased a pair of eltax galaxy floorstanders yesterday and straight away realised that the current reciever i use (pro logic) is too under powered for them as it gets rather hot at the back AND the volume turns itself down after a few mintues of listening.

For now, I am just using an old Technics stereo amp for powering them and this is linked to the front out put of the amp.

    Now onto my requirements.

The speakers are rated at 200 watt music power and 100 watt sinus power ( any one know the difference between the two) so I need an amp which will power these sufficiently.

I want at least Dolby Digital and DTS and pro logic II (if possible)

Am looking to spend around 200 notes.

EDIT: Also why has my post count been lowered by about half?

Thankyou in advance for your input.

Yamaha 630 or Marantz 4200 from Richer Sounds are about it for options really.
