Just added my latest batch of DVDs to my IKEA Robin shelving unit, and there is probably enough space to squeeze in two more discs.

What suggestions do anyone have for DISCRETE storage options? My DVDs are all currently up in the spare bedroom, but I don't want to (can't) take up too much space.

I got a full height pine book case. The wood finish is lovely blending in well and it is probably up to holding 4 or 500 dvds

The robin is a full height unit, but in using 3 out of the 5 shelves I'm only getting 160 DVDs on there.

The other 2 shelves are for my games, so maybe I can move those somewhere...

I friend of mine has got to around the 100 DVD mark & he ran out of storage space. What he did was put all the discs in a few disc wallets (like the CD holder wallets) & put all the cases in storage. It takes up no living room space at all. This doesn't really apply if you want to have them in cases on display though.

I use the dvd stands that Argos sells -Cheap £20, very easy to build, they hold 108 dvds (114 if you have a few thinner snapper cases) and they dont take up much room. I've got 4 of these babys set up plus a very large bookcase - still running out of room though so will have to get another stand from Argos soon.

They do some other colours as well.

I've got this here which i'm pleased with and offers a descreet look, but only holds about 100 DVDs so depends on how large your collection is.
