Do you need this for a specific purpose?

My recommendation - and one that will save batteries on the camera - is to get a USB/Parallel Card Reader. These can be bought for as little as 30 quid - permanently connect to the PC (or laptop!) and will take the Compact Flash from the Kodak.

I have an old DC 265 and got fed up with killing batteries trying to transfer files.

i am looking for the software that comes with the camera

did a full format on the pc, & cannot find the cd software to put back on the pc,

my pc cannot find the camera when it is looking for it

i used to use the docker station to transfer the images to the pc
battery life seems fine on my camera at the moment

Go to the Kodak website and see if you can download it from there.

I had to do that when I changed my computer as the software that came with the camera wasn't compatible with Windows XP.

Mind you I have broadband and it downloaded pretty quickly - depends on your modem I suppose...
