:lease: Hi, new to this techno wizardry.

Have bought a Panasonic TH-42PZ85B + PS3 + Sony DAVDZ860W.CEK. I have Virgin V+ HD box also.

Any advice on what is the best combo of leads and how to get the best results from all of this.

any guidance would be most appreciated, cheers:thumbsup::thumbsup:

You will need hdmi for the 3 sources i.e. PS3, Sony and V+. That takes care of the picture (video).

To sort out the audio, you'll need to buy a switcher by the looks of things. It appears your h/c system has a digi-coax input, an optical input, a pair of phonos and a mini input on the front but it says that it can only accept audio to one of them (not sure if that includes the audio jack on the front). If nothing else I would imagine the digital input is shared between either the optical or digital coaxial, so you can't use both. To this end, I think you will need to buy a 3 way manual optical switch. You will need 4 optical cables too

You'll need to set each source up for optical audio output (the TV should be automatic) and in the case of the PS3 to bitstream (it should be by default) in their respective sound/audio settings menus. That should do the trick
