Need Help Please

    Hello all.

    In the process of setting up my home cinema experience and I upto DVD recorders! I know this is the plasma forum but you guys have so much knowledge I needed your help.!!
    I Just wanted to ask, I need a DVD recorder with hardrive capabilities (160gig+). Can play all formats and record in DVD+R (I've been told best format for recording?? ) Also I need to convert data HarDrive onto DVD at
    relieve space on HD.
    I also want a HDMI solution to recording high def from Sky directly onto dvd hd, is this possible?

    any ideas?

    no - only be able to record sd via scart

    you cnt record HD onto DVD an SD format...need to wait for HD-DVD recorders etc

    thanks hornydragon. I am going to buy the fujitsu 58 series. and I have been recommended the below:

    this has a HDMI output, can you tell me if this can be used to record HD contact ?

    also what would be your recommendation for connectvity for SKy+ ands DVD player above. I will be switching to Sky HD at a later date.
