Hi, I am looking at two B&W speakers now, one of them is the DM601 S1 for $400(a pair), while the other one is the higher model of DM602 S3 for $700(a pair).

Both are used speakers and broken in already, and no tax is needed since it's from my friend.

Now is there a BIG difference in sound between these two speakers?????

I owned a B&W 600 older series, and to be honest, I am very impressed with them for these past 8 years. So wanna get another set for my rear or centre.

And yes, money is an issue for me here, so unless the DM602 S3 has a much better sounds over the 601, then I would consider that one.

Any experts or audiophiles out there that can help me on this??
    Greatly appreciated. :D

Er.....I assume you are choosing between 601 and 602 S3's????

Both sound lovely. You do get more bass out of the bigger 602's, but beware that they can boom in a small-to-medium sized room. They like a bit of space.
If you can accomodate the bigger speakers, get 'em! ;)
