Need help for a set of speakers (SR-607)

Hello!

I'm looking for a set of speakers to my onkyo 607

Major drawback: I think i can't hear all the speakers...

I 1st thought on this one Harman Kardon HKTS-11 BQ and then on this one Pioneer S-V50-G but since i'm reading this and others forums maybe they are not the best choice!

For now, my budget is 400€ and i thought to buy the speakers separately but the set will be more expensive. If i have difficulty to choose a set if i have to look for them separately ... i'm doomed!

I am not looking for anything 5* or otherwise... maybe 3 1/2 *.

Is this set ok, H/K or Pioneer? I'm living in a apartment with ~25m^2

If i have to buy them separately what you people recommend? I'm a bit lost here...
Or better: What you people recommend for 2 speakers + subwoofer for 400€?

I have been watching some Wharfedale diamond

Any different opinion that suits well with this receiver!

Thanx for your patience and support!
EddY

Depends on which speakers you have accesss to.

I can speak from experience that I don't recommend Monitor Audio's... I have some RS6's hooked up to my 607.. and while it does sound superb, the sound quality was drastically better when my friend brought over his Marantz receiver. Mind you, his reciever costs twice the price of my 607... but after spending the premium on speakers and now knowing I'm not hearing them to their full potential is disappointing. I suspect the 607 just doesn't match up with the Monitor Audio's quite as well.

For the reviews and opinions that i've read, i think, the wharfedales are the best choice for a Onkyo.

The next step is to choose between a set, for example, wharfedale moviestar 65+ or to buy the speakers separately

I think that's a little harsh on the MA's,:nono: just because a different more expensive receiver gives, in your opinion, better results is no reason to down them: at least you have a good obvious upgrade path. My RS8's are superb with the 607 both in cinema or music context imho :):)

I apologize if that came out wrong. I wasn't downing the MA's at all, in fact they're my favorite speaker in this price range, and don't plan on selling them. It's just apparent to me (and everyone else in the room) that I'm missing a lot musically with the 607. Great reciever, best bang for the buck, and in my price range. But now I'm saving up for a dedicated 2 channel amp (not AV Receiver) to really let the RS6's let loose with music. I'll continue to use the 607 for home theater applications. Of course, to each their own... everyone hears different. :)

No problem, wish I could afford more kit but this upgrade path will bankrupt us all.
