I am attempting to save up a little cash to purchase a sub; and have been trying to research what it is that would best suit my needs. I need advice deciding between the SVS line and the Paradigm Servo, Paradigm Sonic 10". I have heard a lot of good things about the SVS line and was looking into the SVS 20-39+, having the larger amp and more "tunability" with the ports etc.... A friend of mine has the paradigm servo, and it sound wonderful - I mean tight. I just have the assumption that the SVS is boomy great on explosions etc.... Is it tight and accurate? Pleasant for music as well? It certainly is much cheaper than the paradigms....

However, I am running a denon 3802 preamp, rotell 3 channel to Paradigms Studio 100 v3, and the center channel Studio 570. I have B&W 602 in the rears.

Does anyone know where I could listen to the SVS? That lives near Jacksonville, Florida?

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

You should ask an SVS-demo at hometheaterforum.com. They're from the same continent. ;)
