I have a Fuji 42pha plasma. I want to watch something which I recorded on my sony laptop. I connected a cable to the 15 pin connector (labeled monitor) on the laptop to the RGB2 (sub-d ) connector on the plasma. I changed the input setting on the plasma to RGB-PC. I checked the plasma manual and it said the same thing. But I get no picture.
Is there something else I need to do? Could the cable be defective? or is there a setting I need to change on the laptop for external display as well?

THanks

Don't know about Sony but on most laptops I've used, you have to press a function key, typically F4, to get the laptop to output to a external screen. This usually has 3 settings:

1. Laptop screen only
2. External screen only
3. Both screens

This changes each time you press the function key.

If that doesn't do it, right click on the background, left click properties, then the settings tab, where you should find the settings you need, if not click 'advanced'

Thanks Guys
I found it. Now I can watch Alias on my TV as opposed to my tiny laptop screen
