Okay, so I've finally decided to pony up the xash and buy a DVD Recorder, only thing it's so bloody hard to decide which one to get. So hope someone out there can help. So here is what I will be using it for...

First there is a Budget, so let's say around $450 Cad
    - primary use backing up all home video's copies will be given to the grandparent
    - Backing up current VHS library (I will be buying a Sima CT2)
    - I'm fairly computer and electronic friendly so difficulty shouldn't be an issue
    - would like something that will last for a while

I was looking at the Panasonic E55 until I realized the price of RAM discs...
started to look at the Toshiba DR2 as it records -R-RW and RAM, but was wondering about other machines? Opinions are welcome. Thanks.
