Hello! I have new custom made speakers by a guy who has 20years of experience. It's a great sounding piece of equipment that can compete with ~2000USD speakers. The problem is my source and given the current covid situation - budget. I'm using Onkyo TX-8270 atm and as I really enjoy the connectivity and hdmi arc, I'm willing to drop these and connect integrated amp via coax/toslink with a smart tv and let it do the job - playing Tidal etc.
I can get NAD C356BEE DAC which I heard with my speakers, and it sounded great, maybe a tad warm, but great. Second option is Cambridge Audio CXA60, which I can't directly compare - the seller lives too far. I can have both for same price, 400USD. Can you guys please help me with decision? Or should I aim for something completely different, given my current budget? Only thing I need is DAC and plenty of (real) power. Thank you!
