I'm a newbie in this forum and about front projector.Last week I decided to buy a Sanyo plv30 and few day ago I go into the service mode
(by press MENU button and NORMAL button at the same time and hold it about 15 seconds) and adjusted the values with a datasheet that my saleman told me it's a optimum values.
BUT before doing that I FORGOT TO COPY ALL PREVIOUS VALUE!!! after the adjustment, the picture quality is much worse than before and I want to go back to pevious value of service mode
BUT I can't remember all value. Now I'm very confused about adjusting every value to get the picture quality as good as i've got.

So can anyone tell me about the value in your SERVICE MODE ,espescially the values of Menu NO.1 to 30

    THANKS for your help..............

I can't remember the exact value i've change, just remember that it's between value NO.1 to 30.Before changing I set up with Video Essential and the projector can't display the blacker bar in test pattern. So I guess that the pre-set value may not be correct and then I changed it.But it's my fault that i forgot to copy the value.

So if not bother you (or anyone own this pj)so much.
Can you please tell me the value NO.1 to 30 and 272,273,274

Sorry I don't have my projector with me - work away

What you can do is phone owl video systems who distribute the projector 01825 766123 and ask for technical support

    Hi Bose!

    Good news and bad news.

First the bad: From other forums (...and from other LCD projector names and models) I understand that knowing these numbers for a particular projector does not necessarily mean that they can be used on another projector.

The good news are, I can provide you with my projector numbers:

    0/14, 1/14, 2/3, 3/12, 4/5, 5/(skipped), 6/5, 7/(skipped), 8/5, 9/27, 10/27, 11/27, 12/36, 13/13, 14/12, 15/70, 16/71, 17/65, 18/30, 19/12, 20/12, 21/12, 22/0, 23/1, 24/143, 25/4, 26/57, 27/57, 28/57, 29/0

    30- When Y,Pb,Pr selected: 128
    30- When S-Video selected: 129

    272/96, 273/115, 274/122

    Hope it helps.

    HB

    Hi Jason,

The number on the left is the parameter (don't ask me what they are, since I do not have a guide). The numbers on the right are the values for that parameter.

Toggle between parameters (left window) using the UP and DOWN keys on the remote or the projector itself.

DO NOT TOGGLE THE VALUES on the right (or, if you do, at least take a note of the number so you can return to the original setting).

If your value for the first parameter (0) is 6, that proves there are different factory settings between projectors, since mine is 14.

I would love to get my hands on a proper parameter list. Can anyone help?

Did you tell me that the value on a plv30 can't use with another one ?and can you tell me the url link of the other forum about this pj

I'll try your value to see any better difference

I've the datasheet that describe the detail of every parameter.I'll scan it and post on a new thread, may be on monday

And still wait for another owner of plv30 comment
