Whats the best footy game on the XBox for having a few mates round and just being able to pick up and play ?

I want something that looks good too as we are playing on an eight foot screen !!

Pro Evo 4 - but I wouldn't say it is pick up and play.

If that's what you want maybe try FIFA Street.

Pro Evo 4 in every situation! It's easy to pick up but hard to master. If you are all novices to the game though it should be a great laugh. The only problem comes when you have a few novices and someone who's great at the game! In those situations though you just make them play as some obscure team.

Anyone who appreciates the beautiful game itself will prefer PES4!

Fifa 2005 is perfect for a lads night. Easy to get use to and easy for beginners. If their better players then pro evo 4 is for the masters.

The basics of Pro Evo are very similar to the basics of FIFA so either game is fine as long as you are all novices at PES. The thing is that FIFA never gets beyond the basics where as PES really allows you to do what ever you want football wise and there is room for a player to become very skillful at the game. I'd say for a quick kick about each game will probably do but if you want a game that will also last beyond your 'lads night' then i'd go for PES!

PES is also online for the X-Box so you can play people online when your mates are not round!

Well, thanks for all the advice from everyone...finally made a choice and get Pro Evo4 today. Not had a chance to look at it yet but I am half tempted to leave it until the 'lads night' so we all go into it with the same handicap;)

    Dont be silly.
Open it and practice like hell..........
Then put it away and tape the box up like new.
Get money going on the tournament...................... ;)
Then you will be able to go out and buy another game with
    the winnings........

Fifa if you want to pick it up and play. Strictly speaking Pro Evo is a better game but mjch much harder. It takes a long time to get good at it / get to a level where the games are enjoyable.
