Alright guys, I am going to be buying a DVD player for my girlfriend. It has to be 5 disc, play mp3s, cdrs, cdrws, and I am going to spend 150 dollars. I found a sony for 179 and if that is better than all the other brands out there that are 150 dollars or around there then I will get the sony but can you guys help me out. Thanks

I think everyone is too shocked at being asked about those two DVD players, or it could be the $ to £ conversion that stumped us.

    Personally, I'd buy the Panasonic.

Do you also check http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/ or just this forum?
Reason I ask is there's a distinct bias to either side of the Atlantic.
This one is on the right hand side of the pond.

Both are international though, so I'm a little surprised that I'm all you got!
