Hi. Need a bit of advice please.

Have a pv500 and the only component input is taken by my dvd player.
However I want to connect my PS2 also by component. So I think what I
need is a cheap component switcher. Does anyone know were a cheap one
    can be purchased?

Was also thinking of just using a rgb scart for the PS2 if the component
route seems too expensive. Any recommendations?

    cheers

theres not really much incentive to use component for a ps2, only a small handful of games support 480p, and decent rgb scart lead should give you comparable picture quality. I actually use a £4.99 psone scart lead I got in game ages and ages ago and it gives a picture at least as good as my official component leads. In the end I stuck with the scart lead because I wanted component input for my dvd player.

At the min im using the composite lead that came with it. Do you
think the quality increase would warrant getting an rgb scart, or
just stick to the composite and accept ps2's quality is sh*te?

I'd say the step up to RGB woud be well worth it. Composite is the worst of the lot!
