I have a couple of these monitors I no longer have use for, ASUS MB169B+, they use an oem a powered + data usb a to micro b cable (pre usb c tech I guess)
Also use display link technology I believe.
Any adapters/converters to try to get the hdmi out of the switch to a female usb 3 or male usb 3 with adapter, the switch brick should provide the power but there's no drivers to install on the switch obviously like a pc, but I do recall it being plug and play on my laptops but it might have installed drivers upon plug in.
Just want a confirmation it won't work because there are so many cables, docks and ports out there. thx.
