Question Need assistance disconnecting front panel controls on 42LE5400

I have a 7 year old 42LE5400 that developed an intermittent issue where the volume on the set will increase and ignore remote and front panel inputs until power is removed from the set. I opened the back up with the intention of either examining the control board or disconnecting it and relying on the remote. I have an idea of which connectors i could disconnect, but we to ensure the remote will still function. As such, it seems the board is buried under/ in the bezel so I've given up getting to the board itself.

I've attached a few pictures. Guidance, suggestions, or manuals welcome!

Ok, fixed my own issue. I got the speaker assembly off and verified the small plug over the left hand speaker assembly as the correct plug. Reassembled and powered on to verify that the front panel buttons and lights are disabled but the remote works fine. Hopefully this will help someone in the future !
