Hi all need some quick advice. Currently got Samsung PS42S5HX and im happy with it But its now got a buzzing noise. Engineer said he could repair it but s I've only had it few weeks JL said they can replace it, however they don't have stock. So should i wait for new one? Or get refund and upgrade to either of the above tvs -- But as I got my PS42S5H pricematched for £1500 so does the Pio for example justify an extra ~£1300 - nearly double the price!

Get rid of it, it is awful, in fact I would say it is one of the worst Plasmas I have ever seen, so if you have the chance to get rid of it then do so.

If it is faulty then get a refund or at least a credit note and then get them to match somewhere else where it is cheaper. I don't know what the best price is for a 436xde or a PV500 but someone will be able to tell you. Just get rid of the Samsung while you have the chance.

Cos he likes the picture better of course. This is personal of course, but most pros would consider has foundation in fact. The XDE is a good plasma TV, but scarcely what we would ordinarily describe as a high end video display.

Why not try and find a Pioneer 435 FDE or XDE instead of a 436 I picked mine
up for £1900 at JL there are still some around its a magic TV even
though the Blacks are more Black on the 436 and a few more connections
I think most people would not notice unless they had a test DVD
