i currently own a sony vpl- hs2 projector and am considering upgrading to a sony vpl-hs10.
do you guys reckon it will be a worthwhile upgrade?
will it be a significant improvement over my current pj?
many thanks

Can't speak for the HS2 but I upgraded from an HS1 to a HS10 and there is no comparison - the HS10 blows the HS1 away. I have no regrets...

I love my hs10, very very very good.
If you can get it for the right price go for it.
Huge improvement over the hs2.
Where you thinking of getting it from?

well,i purchased one earlier today from robert white per the recommendation i see somewhere in these forums.
it's a graded machine but it comes with full 1 year manufacturers warranty so can't see how i can go wrong.
will have to wait and see i guess.
cheers for your opinion.

well bud thats the way i did it and i had no problems.
altho you will have to wait till tuesday for it as they dont ship over weekends. Dont like the idea of a projecter being stored in a van or sorting office.

Just make sure you get an invoice.

mmmm
your getting me worried.
why make sure i get an invoice?
and what do you mean by "Dont like the idea of a projecter being stored in a van or sorting office".
who delivers for them?

obviously i would assume you naturally receive an invoice anyway.
i purchased mine over the phone.
wanted to make sure what i was getting re graded.

no need to get worried. What i mean is. out of practice. r whyte dont post parcels if there is a chance that they wont arrive before the weekend. i.e so that it's not sitting in a van on sunday when everyones off. They will prob post on monday and it will arive on tue. thats what happend with mine.(good idea if you ask me. i think its amtrak post)

And i mentioned the invoice because when i recived mine the invoice was not with it(they must have missed it) so i phoned up and they posted out another copy.

again don't worrie, it's a good company and a good projecter.
and if they have stock in, you'll be enjoying your projecter by wed.
And if there's a fault you have a years garantee.

After about 9 months i would look into getting an extra years garantee of sony, about £90, but worth it for the POmind
