Need Advice Please

    i have a HYUNDIA HPT4240 plasma i can get my xbox 360 running games at full 1080i (though component sockets) on it will i be able to use it for SKYHD
    plasma has sockets DVI(P), RGB(P), X2 COMPONENT (Y,PB,PR)

    please help desperate to know if i can get HD

    Yes, you'll need a DVI > HDMI converter socket thing

    If the component connection accepts 720p/50 and 1080i/60, you can connect it via component, but Sky have stated that some material may not be viewable via component.

    SKY are pushing the free install to make sure the launch makes a big splash and it's highly unlikely that that sort of offer will vanish in the longer term.

    Your plasma is SD resolution?
    If so then you will still see some benefit from HD sources but you won't be getting the full impact, a lot of money to pay for SKY HD without a HD panel, but not going to say it would be a mistake:)
