Hi
I am looking to pick up a new TV in the sales currently.
Budget £600 max
looking to replace a 46" lcd screen which is going yellow??
sizewise probably 50-55" max
used for sky q and netflix mainly
TIA
Paul

best to read through some guides to work out what you need, viewing angle is very important:

55”size offers the best value by far, lots of choice too.

£600 budget probably means a mid-range model, but you might pick up a good refurb option.

there is also a good guide here, but best read through when you know what panel type you need.

Thanks for replying.
Tv will sit in corner of room so IPS or OLED if budget allows?

If by corner you mean you need a wide viewing angle? Then yes.

OLEDs kick in around £1k or so: can you increase your budget?

you could also work out what type of panel your current TV: guess IPS but worth finding out.

My current tv is a Toshiba 46sl863
not sure how to find out panel type though
My budget is set unfortunately!

Your current TV will be IPS.
That is a long list of TVs, read through the guide and pick the ones that are best value. You have to determine your wanted panel type first.

Some are mentioned in the 'alternate TVs I struggle to recommend' section for a good reason.

Budget won't stretch to OLED so will have to be IPS

Those are the TVs in the guide in the sections called: LCD TVs with wider viewing angles, but worse contrast, blacks and dark room/scene performance.
