Hello guys, im new here and really need some advice from experts.
Im thinking buying a LCD panel and my use will be mostly for watching movies from my computer(for gaming i have my dell 24inch) and maybe use freeview or sky.
So, after read lot of posts here i couldn't finish with any substantial conclusion, which 42 inch model should i purchase? I was wondering about plasma tv, but is a big discussion which one is better, and since i will use pc output, ive choose lcd.
please, any help will be great, and prices are welcome as well of course.
i have in mind these 2 panels:
Toshiba Regza 42X3030D and Sharp LC42XD1EA.
many thanks since now and sorry for my English.
Regards for all.

Both good, but the Sharp is socking!!!Its excellent tv!!Can you wait a little?New 1080p sony bravias on the way!!!

Why you say this?
40D3500-around 900£-1.000£
40V3000-around 1.000£-1.100£
40W3000-around 1.400£-1.500£
40X3000-around 1.600£-1.700£
40X3500-around 1.700£-1.800£

The most interesting are D3500 and V3000 because have very good specs!!The top range X3000 also are the best!!!

tks chrisgeo for reply
i forgot to tell, i live in uk...:D
my budget also is around 800£
any other suggestion instead sony

If you could spend 900£ you could take the 40D3500.Also is going to be realesed the new 40T3500 which will cost at your budget, but it dont has many features as the others.Maybe it worth a look but I dont believe.....For around 840£ the best solution is Samsung LE-40M87!!!!

If you were willing to lose a couple of inches, you could take a look at the samsung M87 (40 inch).

The M87 now seems to have 2 votes!

is it ok loose 2" and buying samsung instead the sharp or toshiba 42"??

So at least 40"-42".Litlle difficult but maybe and 46"!!!

any other models?????please is my birthday today and i would like to buy me a present.:D

happy birthday!!!
