Have a old Denon receiver that I need to replace because it doesn't have HDMI. I live in an apartment and currently only have 2 PSB bookshelf speakers which seem to get the job done. I just use my PS3, cable box, and Apple TV. I found the Pioneer VSX 2021 that looks good, but any other suggestions?

That's 3x the price of the pioneer one I mentioned. Do I need all the features?

The cheapest you can get a Pioneer VSX2021 for is £600:
Pioneer VSX2021 Black | AV Receiver | Richer Sounds

I think you may have posted the wrong model?

So you're looking for an amp for somewhere in the region of £500?

If you have the money fine. But is it just for convinience you want an HDMI amp. Could you not use a cheaper switching box? Is there some other technical requirment?
