Hi all I'm after a new TV for the release of GTA V and the PS4,
    I want to spend around 500, and would like 42" - 46".
I only really use the TV for gaming and to plug a pc/laptop in every now and then,
I would like a TV with internet browser on it so I can visit the websites and stream a few films, and also would like to be able to play/record with a usb pen drive?

    will this be suitable?
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...=UTF8&psc=1&s=home-theater#productDescription

please let me know of any other options
    thankyou

for gaming, yes a great choice. General opinion is that this years Sonys are the best gaming TVs.

Unless you're sitting right next to it a 42 is way too small for gaming. A 50 is the minimum I'd be looking for. You want to be able to see what's going on.

hi I went to look at the sony tv today in pc world and it didn't seem to great, picture quality wise, it was sat next to a bigger w8, the fella said it was but on show room mode where the brightness is right up and this could be the cause?

you probably will be able to do a lot of what you want - Smart feature wise, through the PS4. I use my PS3 for all the catch up and to stream from sites I'm assuming these features won't go. Same with playing from a USB Pen, though most TV's have that function.

apart from recording to the USB, this might help you widen your choice?
