I have a Panasonic 37PX70 and my DVD player is on the verge of collapse the question is do I buy a cheap all formats player and let my TV do all the upscaling work, or buy an upscaling DVD player maybe a Panasonic for ease of use?

i have same question.have ordered the PX70 and am puzzling over new dvd player to accompany this. mine,similarly,is a cheap player,but i feel i need something better.so many comments on here suggest an 'upscaler' is not necessary as the tv will do the upscaling itself,therefore a good standard one is adequate.
however,am very tempted by the new panasonic model,in particular its excellent specs;

am thinking this could link,all in one,with the tv on its 'quicklink' via remote.
i would appreciate comments/advice to this idea.

I have seen this panny player but it is very new and can,t find any reviews.But I agree lots of formats, hdmi connection,upscaling and the convenience of being Panasonic to work smoothly. But whats it like!
