EDIT: I am now 16 and looking for a weekend job

Anyone got any jobs or know of any jobs for a very high achieving 15 year old.

Also any tips would be useful!

    :smashin: Thanks

You're a bit stuck at 15 I'm afraid. My advice would be the quintessential paper round until you're 16 (or finish your GCSEs) and then go for a more substantial job in a shop or something.

Enjoy the time to yourself as you'll spend the rest of your life working. :)

No paper shop by me anymore, plus the pay was bad before it closed down (£1 a night). I want to stay on at school until i am least 18 and most probably go to uni if nothing better props up. Loads of my mates have jobs but its all washing up and restaurant work. I am more into retail, would like to work at an electronics shop, have emailed dixons group as there careers site does not have a phone number.

Someone said sainsburys take you on but they turned me down.

Also where can i get my work permit?

Work permit comes from the council but your school should have the application forms.

Until you're 16 I'm afraid you're stuck with the restaurant/washing up jobs. Whether it's true or not, you won't be considered responsible enough to work for a major retailer until you're 16. Would you be happy walking into a shop and being served by a 13-year old?
