I have set my self a budget between £150-£250 for a good 5.1 or 7.1 Surround sound system. What I want one for this price is one that is a good all rounder for:

    Films & Movies
    HD Games
    Music
    SD Games
Sky HD +, HD TV and SD TV

Also it needs a good amount of audio phono for my consoles aswell as different audio connectors like this:

I may even go up to £350 even if i need too, plus i need to mount the speakers on a wall. One more thing if anyone can find a good 5.1 or 7.1 system which has that new tech, that bounches music in a kind of different way.

Then I would be glad aswell for that feature to be in this price braket.

    kef kht1005??

maybe even the b&w mt10 package if your willing to stretch a little higher.

your best bet might be having a look on ebay for a full system at the price your talking

I don't do EBay. And I hate how it works. Plus I reckon it is really risky.

Also do you have any images of the back of the kef kht1005.

ive never found ebay to be riskey in the years ive used it, ive found as long as your polite to people they will be the same to you.

i got my toshiba tdp-mt500 projector for £399 brand new rrp £1200

and a blueroom surround sound system for £300 rrp £600

if your dubious and want to buy of a retailer just do a search of the speakers your looking for on google and you will get results that way

The Canton CD101 set up from the Power Buy on here at 290 quid is a fantastic buy. I have the previous version (CD1) and for the money, you really can't go wrong! I absolutely love them! Plus Jake is a really professional guy who will help you all the way. He's not been around for a few days but when you do get to order, if he's got them in stock, you'll get them next day. Just send him a PM.
The black speakers are SWEET too, but they're also available in silver!
    Check out http://www.canton.de.

I doubt they sound amazing, but you can't expect much for that kind of money. You would need to add a subwoofer, there's no way in my mind that you could get away with not using one with something like this, they would sound really tinny.
