I am intending to purchase one of these drives to replace the DVD reader that came with my system. The drive is OEM so I presume will come with no cables, software amnual or installation screws.
I have a number of VHS videos that I want to transfer to DVD to reduce storage space requirements.
My graphics card has a S-VHS/TV-Out socket.
My questions are:
Other than burning software (I have Roxio and Nero) do I need anything else to transfer VHS video to DVD, and
Should I just be able to use my existing cables, installation screws etc (I am assuming that they are standard)?
