Well, like the title says! Just went into my local ASDA (Kings Hill, Kent) and picked up the National Treasure/National Treasure - Book Of Secrets Blu-Ray box set for £17.72!!! Not bad as it's £35 on Amazon.

Im sure there must have been a mistake, but the guy scanned it on the till, and thats what it came up as. :smashin:

Just managed to pick up the last copy at the Swanley store

I called the Dartford Living & Greenhithe stores first but they had just sold their last copies. They only had 2 or 3 copies to begin with.

This is definitely a mis-price because the DVD set is the same price and National Treasure 2 Blu-ray on it's own is £19.97

Grab it while you can and good luck in getting hold of one.

Thanks OP, what a fantastic bargain :smashin:

Well Slough is out of stock until Wednesday if that's any help to anyone else.

They did confirm the £17.93 or whatever it is price though. I'll give them a call Wednesday and see if they've re-stocked.

None left at Hatfield or Stevenage stores. I got the impression the staff were in on the deal, they seemed to know exactly how many there were, what the price was and were quick to turn me away.

Still, a fantastic price for those that can find it.

Just picked it up from Asda in Roehampton, £15.95 as my brother in law works for Asda, so a BIG thank you to the original poster for sharing this excellent deal.

Can also confirm that even though it says Region B on 'Book of Secrets' - it plays fine on my US PS3 (Region A) - so no worries there :)

Think this is a mis price as the shelf price ticket had same barcode as the SD boxset which is the same price.....

Heh. I thought so too. Drove 8 miles there, paid for parking, went in, wandered to the Entertainment section, they'd gone home!! Found a helpful chap who was stocking the shelves who had a look in the cupbaord behind the desk and they'd put the DVD Boxset, not the blu-ray behind the counter for me  Saw they had Close Encounters reduced so bought that on the off chance, then i just found out it's 3 quid cheaper at dvd.co.uk :D
