    All props to National Geographic HD.

    I sent them this email ....

    "Subject: Inside The Human Body - UK broadcast date?

    Good Afternoon,

    I've just read reports of a new programme on your US channel which is being aired this Sunday.

    It's called, "Inside The Human Body" and it's being broadcast in HD.

    http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/inside-living-body/

    Please can you advise when this is scheduled for UK transmission?

    Thank you,"

    And received a swift reply;

    "Hello XXXXX,
    Thanks for taking the time to write into us. We should be airing this show on Sunday 21st October.
    Regards,
    Natgeoweb."

    One to look out for I think, first HD footage I'll have seen from inside the body.

    :thumbsup:

    EDIT - Here's the programme description from their US website;

    'Inside the Living Body traces one “everywoman's story”, using milestones to examine the everyday workings of a living, functioning body in ways not seen on television until now. Cutting-edge miniature endoscopic HD cameras delve deep inside the mouth, throat, heart, lungs, digestive tract, brain and reproductive organs to shed new light on how and why our bodies do what they do. Stunning photography in this two-hour special reveals universal moments in human development at the most minute level, providing insight into both our own individual metamorphosis and our shared human experiences.'

    Nah I fancy being the next "Dexter" so I want to see what I'll be working with ....

    You're first on the list.

    :)

    In all seriousness though, I've always been interested in Biology so this is a must watch for me. Especially as they are using such leading camera technology to capture the HD images.

    More info on this here for anyone interested ....

    Digiguide has this at 19:00-21:00 on Sun 21st, but it's called Incredible Human Machine.
    Programme description:-

    A visually stunning journey through the most complex and versatile machine on the planet: the human body. Features a live look into the vocal cords of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.
