I have a maxtor NAS hard drive and was wondering if it is possible to run it as a usb hard drive instead. I have looked in the manual but can't find any mention of it but would have thought it would be possible somehow.

    Thanks

Yes, remove the drive from the maxtor enclosure, put it in a £10 Usb caddy and away you go :rotfl:
