Anyone know of any widescreen tv's around 28" that arn't stupidly deep?

I'm interested in the JVC AV28X4 mainly due to the 3 scarts but its about 50cm deep and since this is for a bedroom its a little deep for a normal chest of drawers and the like.

Or is there any mounts that would let you wall mount it as its going to be pretty damn heavy.

I Dont really want to go the LCD way as they are too expensive for a decent sized one

The current state of CRT design will make any such TV very deep, front-to-back. Other CRT-style technologies have been announced as forthcoming, but they aren't here, yet.

A 26 inch LCD (similar size to a 28 inch CRT) can be had for a penny under GBP500, and by all accounts they are good sets with lots of connectivity. See separate thread on "Sonix".
